Christmas Season Begins

Last night, at the Canyon View Information Plaza, the Christmas season got off to a great start. There were more authors signing books than the extra long table could hold, fuzzy stuffed lions being sold to raise money for the protection of animals in the National Park, singers, refreshments and so much more.

Ranger Dave and his trusty steed "Rootbeer" were the biggest hit of the night...well...until ol' Santa arrived anyway.

Great crowd, great fun and a wonderful opening of the Christmas season at the Grand Canyon!

The month of December is a nice time to visit the Grand Canyon. Less crowds and nice and very cold weather with snow! All my visits are on very short notice due to winter weather.
